Camp in the City 2024
Camp in the City provides a whole weekend for those wanting to escape the chores at home! Maybe you want to start a new project, or finish that one that has been sitting in the cupboard for a while.
Camp in the City operates from Friday to Sunday at Bayfield School, Technology block.
We’ve found it is a great way to get together and have a whole weekend, working on your projects, picking up some tips and tricks from other members, enjoying a cuppa and a chat while working.
You are welcome to set up your sewing machine for the whole weekend, and come and go as it suits you. If you are unable to attend the whole weekend, feel free to pop along for a few hours either the Friday night, Saturday or Sunday.
Its a great way to check out what the others are doing, and get some inspiration for your next project. It’s fair to say we have a lot of fun!

$20 for the full weekend (or individual cost of $5 for Friday, $10 for Saturday and $10 for Sunday)

What to Bring
Something to share for morning and afternoon tea, your sewing machine and plenty of projects. We provide coffee and tea however, don’t forget to bring your own lunch and dinner or feel free to pop out for either – its up to you!
